One can stand in the awe of the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the World and a UNESCO Heritage Site and marvel at the red sandstone structure of the renowned Agra Fort which gives you the opportunity to view the mosques and palaces inside the fort showcasing the extraordinary Mughal architecture. Along with that, experience the best Indian wildlife that includes the Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian leopards, Asian Elephants, Sloth bears, Indian Gaur, species of deer and a variety of birds and reptiles. Bandhavgarh Tiger reserve has one of the highest density of Bengal Tigers. This park has a large biodiversity for tiger population. Kanha is the largest tiger reserve of India and has one of the most beautiful landscapes as well. It is a bliss to spot a tiger and a variety of wildlife in the beautiful meadows. In the month of March as the summer starts, the sightings and the actions of the elusive cats increase in the parks which makes it the perfect month to spot tigers near the waterholes and in the different parts of the park.

Itinerary

The guests will land in New Delhi from their destination. They will be transferred to the Lemon Tree Hotel where they can relax themselves after their long flight.

Travel to Agra post breakfast. (220kms/ 4 hrs. drive)
Check in into Courtyard by Marriott hotel around the lunch time. Rest and proceed for the sight-seeing of the Agra Fort post lunch and see richness of the Mughal architecture. The guests can also enjoy a visit to the local market in the evening post which they can come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

The day starts with the visit of Taj Mahal early morning at sunrise. After the visit of the magnificent piece of architecture the guests will come back to the hotel for breakfast. Post which they will Check out from the hotel and travel to New Delhi from where they will take a late afternoon flight (2 hrs.) to Jabalpur. (The exact timings of your domestic flights will be informed closer to the dates of the trip). They will reach Jabalpur in the evening and commence their comfortable 3.5 hrs. drive towards Bandhavgarh. They will reach Bandhavgarh, check in into the Bamboo Grove Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The schedule for the next four days will be the same. You will get ready for the morning safari and leave at 5 am. The safari timings are from 5:30 – 11 am. Here you have good chances of sighting the elusive cats like tigers, leopards along with sloth bears, elephants, other mammals and various birds. In between the safari you enjoy your savour packed breakfast in the lap of nature. The guests will reach the lodge back at 11:15am. You can have lunch and get ready for the evening safari at 3.30 pm. Safari timing will be (3.30-6.30 pm) . You will be back to the lodge by 6.45 pm after which you can have dinner and then turn in for the night.

After the morning safari at Bandhavgarh, guests will check out from the lodge post lunch and drive down to Kanha National Park in an air-conditioned comfortable vehicle. (220kms/ 4 hours) The guests will arrive at the Tuli Tiger Corridor for dinner followed by overnight stay. You will have an option of a short night drive from 7-9.30 pm in Kanha.

You will leave for the early morning safari at 5 am. Here the guests will have good chances of sighting tigers, leopards, sloth bears, the endangered Barasingha along with a variety of deer species, other mammals and birds. You will have the packed breakfast with the breath-taking view of the beautiful forest. Post the safari the guests will come back to the lodge around 11:15 am. Rest, have lunch and get ready for the next safari in the evening at 3.30 pm. Come back to the lodge by 6.45pm, have dinner and enjoy your sound sleep.

The guests will have a morning drive (inclusive of breakfast) at Kanha and will be back to the lodge by 11 am. Check out from the hotel post lunch and travel towards Jabalpur/ Nagpur (180kms/3hrs) from where you will take a flight to New Delhi. Reach New Delhi by evening for your return flight back home later In the night. (The exact timings of your domestic flights will be informed closer to the dates of the trip).

  • Safari permits and lodge/hotels are subject to availability. We would suggest you reserve your spot as early as possible. The tour will include 7 participants only.
  • In case the lodge/hotel is full, a similar category lodge will be booked after informing you. •The exact timing of the internal flights will be informed closer to the tour date.
  • 1000 $ payment is necessary for Booking/Confirming the tour.
  • There may be changes in the itinerary on the first and last day depending on the time of your international flights.
  • An overnight accommodation in New Delhi on the 28th can be arranged at extra costs if required.
